US-Albacor Shipping busy with projects and supports JV with German WWPC partner LS-Cargo Intl.

Albacor Shipping in Mahwah, NJ., recently handled the shipment of one Ball Mill 19 x 4.7 x 4.7 meter and 167 metric tons plus 3000 FRT with parts and accessories from Clarksville, MO via truck and barge to the port of Houston, from where the cargo sailed on the M/V Industrial Diamond to Callao, Peru.

Albacor was also responsible for the dismantling of the ball mill and all parts out of the existing cement plant. The project was a successful J/V with WWPC partner LS-Cargo Bremen, Germany.

In another remarkable project the same Albacor Shipping team from Mahwah handled the shipment of 1 Cold Box 47 x 4 x 3.75 meter / 100 metric tons from a factory in Richburg, SC to the Port of Wilmington, NC.

In Wilmington the Cold Box was loaded on the BBC vessel ‘Marmara‘ and shipped to Porto Empedocle in Sicily with a transit time of 16 days.
