Express Global Logistics (EXG) gets transformers from Turkey to Doha

Express Global Logistics Pvt Ltd, India (EXG), member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India, once again successfully executed a critical movement of 550 freight tons of project cargo. The cargo was moved from Hayderpasa, Turkey to Doha, Qatar.

The shipment contained of four x 40 MVA transformers, each measuring 6.6 x 2.15 x 2.9 m and weighting 35 tons each.
Cargo pick up and chartering of a suitable vessel had been arranged timely within given schedule from the date of prior intimations set out by the customer. For smooth loading operation of these units, EXG was in regular touch with overseas partners and the selected carrier at the port of loading and within two days the cargo was loaded on board without any errors. The EXG team displayed meticulous planning, timely co-ordination with all parties to avoid possible delays.

The cargo loading and discharging process completed safely and timely due to excellent loading, stowing, sea fastening planning.
