The Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) Indian member Express Global Logistics Pvt Ltd, (EXG) has recently handled multiple shipments containing special purpose drilling and rigging motor vehicles for a large solar power project company in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Various machines were transported on flat-rack containers from Chennai, India to Colombo, Sri Lanka. The cargo contained motor vehicle, mobile drilling derricks rig vehicle including compressor, accessories tools and spares. Each machine was supervised and properly placed on the container under the EXG supervision. “The shipments were meticulously handled by EXG to the client’s expectations,” said a project specialist at EXG.
Express Global Logistics handled a heavy lift cargo of engine/turbines with its accessories for its esteem manufacturing client, from Europe to Mumbai.
The business was generated by Mumbai EXG and was executed jointly with the EXG partner in Europe. The shipment contained of total 30 packages of 96 metric tons in which there were two Heavy Lift cargos of 77 metric tons. The shipment required loading as partcargo from Antwerp and was carefully handled under the supervision of experienced project specialist from EXG.
Thanks to the expertise and experience of Express Global Logistics, the cargo was delivered in Mumbai on time and in good condition. The Project Specialist from EXG said, “It required an experienced and precise technique to handle the cargo. Similar heavy lift shipments are expected in the near future”.
