Delta Maritime moved oversized and overweight equipment for Road Construction Works in Greece

Delta Maritime, Member to the Worldwide Project Consortium WWPC network for Greece, was faced with extremely difficult road conditions due to the strong winter this year when arranging the road transports for construction equipment from Poland to the PLATAMONAS, KOROPI and SHIMATARI construction sites in Greece.

A total of 30 special road transports were required with starting operations at the begin of January 2014 to safely transport a variety of Caterpillar excavators, Crushers, Mercedes trucks, Motor Graders, Driers, Asphalt tanks and Filter boxes with pieces of 32 tons each and 3,45m height each.
