Delta Maritime Ltd of Greece, has opened up an office in Bucharest in order to better support the requirements of its global as well as its local customers.

The contact for the wind industry Logistics requirements will stay with ‘DELTA EOLICA’ team, headed by George Demertzidis Dip. Mechanic Engineer. Delta Maritime has recently upgraded its management system in order to perform in full compliance with the requirements of Vestas, Alstom, Gamessa, and other global customers in the energy industry.

Delta Maritime Limited announces good full year results for 2012, a clear indication that the company is growing for a 2nd consecutive year in adverse circumstances. The good results stem from increased business for Project Cargo Logistics – Wind Industry, as well as from general freight forwarding activity, which also increased. These business activities, in relation to countries, show strong results in Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus and are followed by Albania, FyroMacedonia, Romania and Serbia. Further expansion of the company in Serbia, Albania and Bulgaria is planned by opening up offices in Belgrade, Tirana and Sofia soon.
