6 used Komatsu HD785-7 & parts at Piraeus G2 Keratsini port

Cosmatos Shipping Services (CSS) recently carried out operations at Piraeus G2 Keratsini of 6 dismantled Komatsu used trucks & parts which arrived on board a liner vessel and needed to be transshipped to a river vessel.

The shipment consisted of 6 chassis, main bodies, trays and tyres with total weight of 442.00 mts.
Tray dimensions: 9.7 x 5.53 x 3.5 m and weight 29.00 mts each.
Chassis dimensions: 8.7 x 5.35 x 3.9 m and weight 42.57 mts each.

CSS arranged the unlashing – unstuffing from 12 mafi trailers, the loading on board a river vessel, the supply of lashing equipment, the lashing/welding service, the transit customs formalities and the overall coordination of the shipment.

A rather complicated operation with tight time deadlines was completed with great success.

Transport of flare KOD drum from Greece to Israel

Cosmatos Shipping Services (CSS), member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Greece, arranged the transport of a flare kod drum with dimensions 13.8 x 4.55 x 4.6 m, weight 36900 kg, from Thessaloniki, Greece, to Ashdod, Israel, via the port of Piraeus in Greece.

Cosmatos arranged the transshipment operation to discharge and carefully reload the cargo at port of Piraeus.

The cargo was placed onto a 50-foot Mafi unit and lashed at all contact points. The shipment was then safely and successfully loaded onto a Ro/Ro vessel in the shortest possible time with final destination Israel.
